Orion Industrial Services was formed in 2007 to create a business that would take advantage of the unique backgrounds and experience of each of its managing members; John Kateon, Mark Lammon, Ronnie Langley, Arnie Webb, and Dallas Holmes.


John L. Kateon - Managing Member and partner in RCT, John is a partner and president of Orion Industrial Services Inc and is partner and Vice President in Orion Engineering. (See Partners Page) Mr. Kateon is registered professional engineer with a B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical) from Brown University where he also earned a B.A. in Operations Research. John has over thirty years experience in engineering design, project management and construction of chemical, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industrial projects from small general fund projects to major Greenfield expansion costing several hundred million dollars. Business management covering all aspects of both engineering and construction, direct hire operations. Project Management experience includes direct management of EPC, EPCM, and LSTK type project ranging from very small proprietary system carrying process guarantees up to full scale Greenfield plants of over $100MM. Direct reports have included entire engineering and construction management operations including project controls, procurement, and QA. A long time champion of project execution through “partnering using design-build contracts” as a solution to owner resource depletion and as the “best in class” approach to fast-track projects.


Mark Lammon - Mark has seventeen years of professional experience in the direct hire construction, engineering project controls, and construction management areas of project execution. He has held positions ranging from Assistant Superintendent to Project Manager for a Louisiana based general contractor on lump sum municipal projects. As a Project Controls Manager he was responsible for estimating, cost control/forecasting, and scheduling for the engineering portion of projects ranging in size from 3 million to 250 million. His experience as a Construction Manager includes the safe and successful completion of over 210 million dollars worth (2 million work hours) of mid size capital expansion projects in the industrial sector.


Ronnie Langley - Ron


Dallas Holmes - Dallas has over thirty years of material control and purchasing experience in the petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, and marine industries. His responsibilities have included both project and department management and direct supervision activities in the purchasing, expediting, contracts administration, estimating, material management (both home office and site activities), and project document control.
